Description
The Anglesea Trousers are cut straight through the leg for a clean, timeless silhouette. Designed for ease, they feature a drawstring waist alongside a zip fly and corzo waistband button. Two side pockets and a single back pocket, while a lightweight cotton lining enhances comfort.
Made from lightly waxed Scottish cotton, the fabric softens and improves with washing, developing character over time. Finished using an emulsified wax process inspired by a 1910 waterproofing patent, it offers breathability, weather resistance, and a naturally aged appearance. Washable, line dry, and light iron. Waxy markings are part of the fabric’s intrinsic beauty.
Anglesea trousers emerged in the early 1800s as men’s fashion shifted from breeches to longer trousers. Named after the Isle of Anglesey, they were widely worn by sailors and soldiers.
