The Byron Trousers are full-length with a relaxed, draped silhouette. Designed with a dropped rise and balloon-shaped leg, they taper gently toward the hem, creating a cocoon silhouette. Front pleats add volume through the thigh, while darts at the hem refine the shape. Functional details include side seam pockets, two back flap pockets, a metal waist adjuster, YKK zip fly, and corzo button fastening.
They are crafted from a Japanese wool–linen blend, selected for its breathability, natural drape, and soft structure. The cloth offers a unique vintage-inspired character, combining the natural texture of linen with the refined elegance of wool.
The difference in shrinkage between the two fibers creates a distinctive uneven surface and natural wrinkled texture, adding depth and richness to the fabric’s appeal.
The design is based on Cossack trousers introduced to English fashion after Tsar Alexander I’s visit to London in 1814. The style was famously worn by Lord Byron, who favoured the silhouette.
